Hi. My name´s Dan. I´ve been teaching guitar to single students and groups of all ages since I was a teenager. In my experience, nothing goes above a structured practice routine and professional guidance when it comes to getting things done! I myself was lucky enough to have the luxury of a skilled teacher and mentor, who taught me the right thing at the right time, step by step, brick by brick, to build a solid musical foundation that now gives me the freedom to express myself as an artist. As a teacher, it is my goal to give you, the student, the same feeling, to be able to choose what you want to focus on, and to completely indulge your unique taste and style. I teach all genres, but specialize in Blues, Rock and Heavy Metal. I have my own personalized method based on Gilbert, Stetina and Fischer, with some NLP thrown in. My qualifications include a BMus degree and nigh on 10 years of playing, teaching, writing, recording and touring experience. I am more than happy to prepare you for grades, as well as teach harmony, theory, aural, notation or composing and arranging. You know… if that floats your boat!
