LAND ROVER 90 DEFENDER 200TDI in London, Essex for sale

Cars

Hi and welcome ... BEFORE ANYTHING, BEAR IN MIND THIS VEHICLE NEEDS THE FRONT DIFFERENTIAL AND THE FUEL INJECTION PUMP CHANGED TO BE BACK TO FULL OPERATION. THE CAR DRIVES BUT WITH THE RISK OF THE DIFFERENTIAL GOING AT ANY MINUTE. (IN THIS SCENARIO, YOU'D NEED TO REMOVE THE FROM PROP SHAFT, ENGAGE DIFF LOCK MODE AND RUN ON THE BACK AXLE ONLY) - I SERIOUSLY RECOMMEND A TRAILER TO COLLECT THE CAR BUT, AFTER BUSINESS IS DONE, YOU'LL NEED TO REMOVE IT FROM IT'S CURRENT LOCATION WITHIN HOURS AT YOUR OWN EXPENSE AND RESPONSIBILITY. Due to changes at work, I'm literally being forced to let go of my dream Landy. I really don't want to sell the car as I've invested a bit already to put it to a nice condition. I was looking for the parts I needed to fix it when I heard the news about work. I had to stop and unfortunately, sell the car. It's LEZ Compliant. Can drive in LONDON. Here's what matters: Bought car about 10 months back. It had things to do (when I bought it) and those were done by qualified mechanics. I know very little about mechanics but, I kept track of the main points. I had an MOT done in September which had a few advisories so I had everything fixed and it went through easy. No advisories now. It's got MOT till September 2013 and Tax I believe till Aug. I replaced the steering box for a new one and at the same time had a RTC Terrafirma shock fitted. Starter motor changed for a new one. Changed master clutch cylinder. Car has now 159000m on the clock. It a noisy car ... straight through exhaust is amazing. Feels like you're driving a tank with 2 V8 engines. Your neighbours will hate you. Hahaha The car was mainly used for commuting on an everyday basis and occasionally long weekend trips (camping/green laning). Drove it to Hamburg and Berlin and back with no problems whatsoever. I took it to a pay and play ONCE. Rather green laning to be honest but, the car is a monster. This was the first Landy i ever had with raised suspension and these big fat tyres ... let me tell you. I was dumbstruck. My nest step was a winch but, i guess i'll have to put than plan on hold for now. Last i drove it (this morning) noticed the gears are sticking a bit but only for a couple minutes. After a few changes it was same as always. Nice and smooth. Here's a list of modifications. Registered in 1991 Immobiliser fitted 200tdi with full size performance intercooler, silicone air hoses, fully stainless straight through side exit exhaust. 2" lift kit and 33x12.50 r15 Hankook MT tyres (still very good condition) Steering guard, rock sliders, diff guard, body tree sliders, sill bonnet and wing black chequerplate. chequerplate in the boot. Patriot roof rack with 4x spots (not working at the moment - needs rewiring), rear access ladder, rear worklight (not wired up yet). A bar with 2x spots (Working). Safari snorkel and full wading kit/ extended breathers. Dixon bate towball. Xenon headlight conversion. Custom made interior headlining, 2 rear folding bench seats fitted with 3 point seatbelts. Aluminium dash surround, chrome door handles, chrome gear knobs. Jvc head unit with USB/AUX inputs (NEW - 3 months - Bought and fitted JAN2013). Mountney 16 inch steering wheel. The paintwork has faded quite a bit, there are also the typical scratches, blemishes and dents you could expect from an old Landy. The car is currently parked inside private estate (North London - N8) awaiting sale. Vehicle is not insured. You will need to show me some proof that the car is insured before you drive it away. The V5 is present and will be with me as well as all documentation (there's a lot of paperwork/bills/mot etc etc). I will need you to sign the V5 transferring it to your name and address and I WILL post it recorded to DVLA for the changes. Payment is to be made by either bank transfer (car will not leave until I have the money on my account) or cash on collection. Any questions, fire away. Cheers
