1993 Mini Sprite Auto metallic grey in London, Essex for sale

Scruffy but reliable Mini Sprite Auto with an MOT until September 2015. Owned for 18 months and only selling as it was for our au pair who has gone back to Australia. Has had a rebuilt gearbox, a brake overhaul new tyres and regular servicing. It has a check roof and cooper style stripes on the bonnet and minilite alloy wheels. It has a good CD player. As a 1993 car, it has a carburettor not fuel injection, which is cheaper and easier to maintain. The four speed auto gearbox changes smoothly and, coupled to the 1275cc engine, means the car is quite comfortable in modern traffic. The car has some history showing that, in recent years, it has been well looked after. The mileage is indicating 23000 but is highly unlikely to genuine. Externally, being a 22 year-old car, it is scruffy with bumps, dings and rust scabs on most panels. The near side front wing is particularly bad (see pic) and the boot floor could do with a couple of small patches. The interior is clean and tidy with no rips and tears to the seats or carpets. It passed its mot with no issues and has always been reliable for us. You could carry on using it as it is or you could upgrade it while you use it. It has just been serviced and is absolutely ready to go.
