Large double room to rent in a beautiful 2 bed flat - which also comes with a huge south-facing terrace and is about 10 seconds walk to Limehouse DLR station! My name is Tom and I have a spare room to rent from April 1st as my sister has decided that tagging sharks off the coast of South Africa is a more attractive proposition than living the dream with her older, protective brother. The flat overlooks Limehouse Marina / Basin, where all the boats are on the way to Canary Wharf on the DLR. It has a terrace the size of a squash court and I am not opposed to the idea of trying to create one. There's some garden furniture and a fire pit in it so it should be great for summer barbecues etc. I have just spent an eye watering amount furnishing the flat - new corner sofa, beds, mattresses, book case, dining table, chairs and wardrobe + chest of drawers of choice for whoever moves in. The flat also contains a pretty impressive range of kitchen and hifi equipment, which I have listed at the end for those that are interested, potential burglars to see what size van they need and consequent insurance purposes. The marina is an urban oasis just off the river Thames - bills are between 100 and 150 a month depending on season. I'm 31, work in marketing, love films, music, books and sport, looking for laid back but tidy housemate to become good friends with.
