THE HOUSE: The house is in a great location between Clapham Junction & Wandsworth Town stations - both an 8 minute walk, so there are loads of pubs, restaurants and shops a short walk away. Clapham Junction has quick trains into Waterloo and Victoria, the overground goes to East or North London. Buses to Brixton, Fulham, Putney, Chelsea and further. There are loads of gyms, fitness clubs and sports leagues in the area and the commons aren't far away for park space. There is a large living space, separate kitchen with a table and a small patio garden with BBQ & table. There is a downstairs toilet and each bedroom has its own bathroom with toilet - so no queuing! Loads of storage space around the house, including cupboards for suitcases and a loft for boxes etc. We moved into the house only a month ago so we are open to change, still finding our feet and it won't feel like you are moving into someone else's house. Bills are the usual costs - water, electricity, gas, internet & council tax. Split equally between everyone. The house is in Wandsworth, which has the cheapest council tax in the UK. YOUR ROOM: Large bedroom furnished with double bed, drawers, mirrors, two wardrobes and shelves on the wall. Would suit a single person looking for a real sized bedroom or a couple, as there is plenty of space for more stuff. Your own bathroom has a toilet, bath with shower (the house has amazing water pressure, the best showers we have ever had!) and a sink with cabinet. We are an easy going couple, luckily not joined at the hip, with our own interests and friends. We are not a lovey dovey type couple and enjoy living in houseshares. We are both really into loads of music, going to gigs and festivals. We go to Glastonbury every year, ATP events and love making costumes. We both work hard and have fairly early nights during the week. We like to let our hair down at the weekends, enjoying food and drinks with friends. We are not a mad party house but do like to have a few friends over for drinks or dinner. We are both very clean, considerate and respectable of noise / housemate commitments etc. Mel plays rollerderby & netball, enjoys making stuff, goes to the gym and likes vintagey things. Craig has a huge record collection, plays & watches football and would like to play more pool. We both snowboard and like to dance badly. NGreatbritainlisteds likes to sniff socks, wrestle with his toy lobster and do combinations of tricks for biscuits. He is very well behaved and likes people who will throw his tennis ball for him or give him strokes. If you are single he is the best wing man you could ask for! YOU: We are looking for a friendly relaxed housemate, that enjoys socialising but also appreciates quiet times for rest. Someone that can hold a conversation, has a good sense of humour and likes a beer (or equiv!) We have a big group of friends in London and locally, so would be great to add some more. Would help if you liked dogs as NGreatbritainlisteds loves people! As there is plenty of space and bathrooms in the house we are also open to couples - straight, gay, doesn't make a difference to us.
