Available: August 18 (if you need someone sooner use Airbnb for short term) Min term: 12 months Location: Zone 3 COMFORT AND PEACE We have a big double room (biggest in the house) in a well looked after Victorian mid-terrace house with garden located about 1 minute walk off the main road, so feels pretty safe at night. The room is on the 1st floor at the front of the house on a quiet street. The room can be furnish or unfurnished. The house has two bathrooms and there is free wifi. There is a garden with vegetable patch. Black mould can be a real problem in houses where people dry clothes and especially thick towels in bedrooms, and the bathroom and kitchen are not well ventilated. To prevent mould forming, we have a tumble dryer and a dehumidifier. We are within 5 mins walk to Bruce Grove railway station (zone 3), which is a few mins connection to the Victoria tube line. Lots of shops in the neighbourhood. By tube it takes about 30 mins to Kings Cross, 25 mins to Liverpool Street; 35mins to Oxford Circus; 35mins to Russell Sq. Buses into the centre of London are plentiful. The room is for single occupancy, suitable for professionals or quiet students out during the day (not for people who work night shifts). Non-smokers only. To share with 1 female + 3 guys. Occupations are artist, care worker, electrician, architect from England, Scotland, Poland, and Russia. Average age group 35-45. Though there are 5, it feels like there are only 2 people in the house. The artist just sleeps and spends all his time at his studio so it's rare you will see him; the architect works long hours so you are only going to see him at weekends. There is 1 friendly cat in house, who is well trained and won't enter your room. This house is for the more independent person. There is no pressure to socialise. The housemates tend to catch up on each other's news in the kitchen or in the garden. The rent includes some bills - council tax, TV licence and wifi. The rent does not cover water, electricity, gas which has been from £15 to £40 per month depending on the time of year, and averages to about 25GBP a month. We are keen on saving energy. Deposit = 1 month's rent We are within 10 minutes of Tottenham football ground, and for lovers of chinese cuisine, there is a big Chinese Lung Fung cash and carry nearby. The high street has Aldi, Asda, Iceland supermarkets. Cheap gym membership at newly opened Easygym. A leisure centre with swimming pool is by Seven Sisters, 20mins on foot, or short bus ride.
