We have 1 SUPER huge double bedroom with its own sitting room area or office area within it, available in our househare. When I say double, I mean double not the usual London double which is a cupboard!! The huge bedroom (Room 2) is on the 2nd floor of our house. It has the 2nd floor completely to itself. It is a very large L shape room and can easily become a bedroom with its own sitting room in or bedroom and office for anyone who wants a lot of space. It currently has a triple wardrobe in. High quality wooden floors, lots of space in the eaves for storage. It also comes complete with its own bathroom. Its a 4 piece large bathroom. It has a large bath, separate shower cubicle, sink and WC, under floor heating and heated towel rail in the bathroom. It gets a lot of natural light in as it has windows looking on to the garden as well as beautiful skylights. It measures 625cm long/285cm wide at its narrowest and 383cm wise at its widest. It has large amounts of eaves storage space as well as a cubby hole additional storage space of 60cm x 135cm Ideal for someone wanting serious amounts of space or a couple who want more privacy and space than what they would get in a typical houseshare. Other than the wardrobe it comes unfurnished so you can furnish it however you wish. There is a large communal living room with sofas, dining table, beanbags, large TV, games consoles etc etc. A kitchen with all cooking facilities as well as many fridges, dishwasher, microwave and various gadgets. There is a communal bathroom on the 1st floor with a walk in shower as well as a WC, as well as an additional spare toilet on the ground floor. There is a large garden with grass and patio. We would like to plant some flowers and veg but as yet haven't gotten around to it. There is a driveway at the front and free parking on the road outside the house. The house is currently occupied by myself and my partner. We are both full time mature art students and both also work part time. We also share the house with our faithful steed. Or rather, Jack Russell called Indy. Location wise. The house is in a lovely little suburban pocket called Merton park. Its beautiful and green. There are 3 parks (2 massive ones including the well known Morden Hall Park) all walking distance from the house. The house is a 5 min walk from Morden Underground station. There is also a Sainsbury's, Lidl and Iceland right next to the station so everything is very convenient. The house is a 10-15 min bus ride into Wimbledon. The buses are plentiful running 24 hours and approximately every 10 mins. There are buses to a variety of places from the house. The tram is about a 15 min walk away which takes you one way to Wimbledon or the other way right into Croydon in 20 mins. Wimbledon Uni is a 15 min walk from the house. Getting around from here is very easy. The bills are approximately £65. 50 per person per month, if there are 5 of us living in the house. These are, Electric, Gas, TV license, Virgin Fibre optic broadband, water rates, netflix (UK and US netflix). Council tax is £60 per person per month. (Providing everyone is a professional, if they are students then obviously they are exempt of council tax) Deposit is £1100 per room. We are a very easy going house. We watch far too many TV shows on netflix, like our food, we are studying animation and illustration at uni. We are looking for easy going people who are ok with dogs. We would like a sociable house but we are also capable of respecting other peoples privacy. We would like housemates who can be considerate and conscientious. Housemates who are willing to share the household chores but most importantly be lovely and or awesome people.
