Soldano X88R Rackmount Valve Guitar Preamp (SLO 100 tones) in London, Essex for sale

This is a rare beast of a guitar preamp, based on the preamp of the legendary Soldano SLO 100, and sounds fantastic as you might expect given such a lineage. This particular example was modded for an internationally renowned artist by guitar tech to the stars Pete Cornish: switches have been added to the front panel to turn on each channel separately, and separate outputs for each channel have been added to the rear. Upon Peter's recommendation, I had a very simple three-to-one active mixer custom made by Bright Onion Pedals, shown in the second picture below, which will be included so that the preamp can also be used as originally intended. Completely stock otherwise, and in very good condition. One of the few Soldano products to feature a lifetime transferable warranty, just like the SLO 100, which is testament to the quality of the build and to that of the components. I really don't want this to get damaged in transit, so collection very much preferred from SW18, just down the road from Southfields tube station. However, I'm willing to work with the buyer to have it couriered at the buyer's expense and risk.
