Designed a lowered frame so that children can easily put their feet down on each side. - Drivetrain: Freewheel - More safety, as children don't need to pedal, even going downhill. - Position: DECATHLON handlebar and grips. Comfortable foam saddle - The riding position has been designed with the child's size in mind, and the grips are suited to small hands. Plus, it is height adjustable, so it grows with the child. The saddle is also height-adjustable and quick release. - Wheels: 14", Tyres with inner tubes (inflatable) and tread - Real tyres to help get around obstacles (kerbs, etc.), and for better grip on normal terrain (paths, grass, etc.). - Braking: Specific DECATHLON brake levers. Drum brake at the rear and cantilever at the front - The brake levers are designed for small hands. Drum brake at the rear for efficiency, but still gentle braking. This type of brake requires less maintenance. On the front are cantilever callipers, which are efficient but not too strong (limits the risk of the wheel blocking and the rider falling head-first over the handlebars). - Chain guard: Special DECATHLON housing with patterns inlaid into the plastic - This chain guard cover all the mechanical drive chain parts (cranks, chain, freewheel, and so on) to keep the risk of pinching (of small fingers) and catching (of laces) to a minimum, and to keep clothes clean. - Equipment: DECATHLON mudguards to protect the child from any projections. - Stabilisers - This bike uses DECATHLON stabilisers which we do not have at present.
